Are the karts safe?
Yes, built to the highest of safety standards, the karts feature seat belts, protective cage, sturdy wrap around bumpers front and rear, powerful regenerative braking system and are easy to drive and control.
Are the parties supervised?
Yes, all karting sessions are supervised by fully trained and experienced staff. They are in attendance throughout the session to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all the children whilst driving.
Will the children be shown what to do?
Yes, all children are briefed at the beginning of the session on how to stop and start the karts, more importantly they are shown how to drive the karts and have fun.
How long do the parties last?
We offer 1 hour parties for up to 16 children and 11/2 hour parties for up to 24 children. If you require a longer party then contact us and we can negotiate your request.
Is there an age or height restriction?
Yes, the maximum height is 1.5 metres. The karts are designed primarily for 4-9 year olds but most 3 year olds can do it, we don’t however offer parties for the 2 year old who is turning 3.
How fast do the karts travel?
We can calibrate the speed of the karts from 0-6mph depending on the age and ability of the children.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have public liability insurance cover to £5,000,000
Are you experienced in working with children?
Yes we have 15 years combined experience of working with children and we are advanced CRB disclosed.
Do you offer food at your parties?
No, but most of our indoor venues offer a separate party room for you to go to following on from the karting for a nominal charge, and they allow you to take in your own food and carry on your celebration.
Do the children get anything from the driving experience?
Yes, the children get a tremendous amount, spatial awareness, hand eye coordination but most of all achievement with a real sense of fun.
